Senior SRE – Linux, Windows

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia, +3 more countries.

📋 Description

• Oversee, troubleshoot, and provide support for both Linux and Windows server environments.

• Monitor the health, availability, and performance of infrastructure.

• Investigate and rectify production incidents and infrastructure challenges.

• Conduct root cause analyses to help mitigate recurring issues.

• Automate operational and infrastructure tasks using scripting and automation tools.

• Engage in on-call duties and incident response activities as necessary.

• Collaborate with infrastructure, DevOps, development, and other technical teams.

• Maintain and update technical documentation and operational procedures.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 4 years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), DevOps, Systems Engineering, Infrastructure Engineering, or related fields.

• Proficient hands-on experience in Linux administration and troubleshooting.

• Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Windows Server environments.

• Proven experience in supporting and troubleshooting production infrastructure.

• Scripting and automation proficiency in Bash, Python, and/or PowerShell.

• Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools.

• Knowledge of networking and infrastructure principles.

• Experience in incident management and conducting root cause analyses.

• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving capabilities.

• Excellent communication skills in English.

• Ability to work autonomously while collaborating with distributed technical teams.

• Experience with Infrastructure as Code and configuration management tools like Terraform or Ansible.

• Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes.

• Experience with cloud services such as Azure or AWS.

• Knowledge of Active Directory and Windows infrastructure administration.

• Prior experience in fintech, financial services, or highly available production environments.
