Senior DevOps

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Argentina.

📋 Description

• Design, implement, and maintain Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.

• Manage and optimize container platforms and orchestration.

• Oversee and maintain development, testing, pre-production, and production environments.

• Automate operational tasks using scripts and infrastructure as code tools.

• Monitor applications and infrastructure, identifying improvement opportunities and mitigating operational risks.

• Implement controls and best security practices within development and deployment processes.

• Manage configurations, versions, and software release processes.

• Participate in resolving critical incidents and conducting root cause analysis.

• Collaborate with Development, Architecture, Security, and Operations teams.

• Promote the adoption of DevOps practices and an automation culture.

• Assist in code review processes.

⛳️ Requirements

• Experience in implementing and managing CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, Argo CD, or similar).

• Administration of repositories and version control using Git.

• Knowledge of containers with Docker and Podman, and orchestration platforms like Kubernetes (K8s).

• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (OpenStack, Kubernetes, Ubuntu/Canonical, or similar).

• Familiarity with Cloud platforms (OpenStack).

• Experience with Linux operating systems (Ubuntu/Rocky Linux) and basic server management.

• Knowledge of scripting and automation (Bash, PowerShell, Python, or similar).

• Practical knowledge of Java (Spring Boot), Node.js, REST APIs, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

• Experience with monitoring and observability tools: Grafana, Prometheus, ELK.

• Understanding of security applied to infrastructure, pipelines, and DevSecOps processes.

• Knowledge of networking, load balancers, DNS, certificates, and communication protocols.

• Experience in incident management, troubleshooting, and performance analysis of applications and infrastructure.
