This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Set and uphold objectives for territory calls and maintain a balanced portfolio.
• Create and finalize business plans for the territory.
• Develop call plans that outline contacts, frequency, and product details.
• Formulate and implement prescriber action plans.
• Utilize approved promotional materials alongside effective selling strategies.
• Achieve metrics related to call activity, sample utilization, and quarterly business plans.
• Adhere to FDA, PDMA, HPPA, and Keenova policies when engaging with healthcare professionals.
• Maintain databases that record sales calls, trends, objectives, sampling data, and territory performance.
• Oversee the sample accountability program.
• Complete activity reports, check emails and voicemails, update quarterly plans, and submit expense reports.
• Stay informed about healthcare issues, products, disease states, patient education, consumer education, payers, and market conditions.
• Acquire and apply sales training and product knowledge.
• Attend and engage in mandatory sales conferences and training sessions.
• Cultivate and enhance relationships with healthcare professionals and customers.
• A Bachelor’s degree with 3–5 years of relevant experience is preferred.
• Experience in the biopharmaceutical industry is required.
• B2B sales experience is essential.
• Capability to grasp medical, computer, and data-analysis technical matters.
• Comprehensive knowledge of healthcare issues, products, and disease states.
• Expertise in product knowledge, including patient and consumer education.
• Understanding of the market environment and local payer landscape.
• Ability to learn and implement core sales training curriculum.
• Ability to absorb and apply information regarding new and existing products.
• Preparedness to attend and participate in required sales conferences and training classes.
• Willingness to travel overnight 15% of the time or more.
• A valid driver’s license is necessary.
• Ability to safely operate a motor vehicle.
• Capability to lift up to 10 pounds.
• Competitive base pay range of $121K–$174K.
