This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.
• Implement brand strategies and tactics in the field.
• Achieve sales performance, brand KPIs, financial goals, and marketing objectives.
• Oversee the designated territory and targeted accounts.
• Foster strong customer relationships and address customer needs.
• Develop pre-call strategies and perform post-call assessments.
• Manage objections, concerns, and misunderstandings to secure actionable outcomes.
• Create and execute call strategies to enhance customer engagement and sales opportunities.
• Acquire knowledge of customer requirements, market dynamics, competitors, market segments, accounts, diseases, products, clinical information, and sales methodologies.
• Provide market insights to in-field, brand, and sales management teams.
• Highlight AbbVie’s value proposition to assigned healthcare providers.
• Identify, cultivate, and sustain relationships with disease-state experts and advocates.
• Adhere to AbbVie’s business code of conduct, policies, and relevant laws and regulations.
• Bachelor’s degree in health, sciences, pharmacy, or a related business field preferred, or relevant equivalent industry experience.
• Relevant industry experience in place of a bachelor’s degree: a minimum of five years, including three or more years in the pharmaceutical, health, or science sectors preferred.
• High school diploma/GED required when opting for the experience alternative.
• Demonstrated history of leadership success.
• Strong presentation skills.
• Excellent business acumen.
• Proficient in using business tools.
• Capable of strategic and critical thinking.
• Ability to recognize customer styles/behaviors and adjust the sales approach accordingly.
• Effective operation in a matrix environment.
• Preferred experience in the pharmaceutical commercial industry.
• English proficiency preferred for non-English-speaking regions.
• Must meet applicable HCIR credentialing requirements and maintain good standing or be eligible to obtain credentials.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screening test.
• Must fulfill safe driving criteria.
• Ability to operate a personal vehicle, company car/truck, or powered material-handling equipment.
