This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with Procurement, Legal, and internal stakeholders to ensure subcontract provisions are cohesive, suitable for business, and aligned with company goals.

• Analyze prime contract requirements and convert them into negotiated General Provisions, Terms & Conditions, and necessary clause flow-downs for suppliers and lower-tier subcontractors.

• Lead negotiations with suppliers regarding General Provisions and Terms & Conditions.

• Create tailored contract language to meet business needs, reduce risk, and facilitate compliant execution.

• Establish, maintain, and organize negotiated clause language within company systems.

• Equip buyers and procurement professionals with approved, practical, and uniform contractual tools.

• Examine government contracts and subcontracts for adherence to relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies.

• Enhance subcontract compliance processes and ensure audit-ready traceability throughout the procurement lifecycle.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of 6 years of relevant subcontracts experience, or a Graduate Degree with at least 4 years of related subcontracts experience.

• Alternatively, a minimum of 10 years of related subcontracts experience in lieu of a degree.

• 4 years of experience with government contracts.

• Familiarity with government contracts and procurement principles as outlined in FAR/DFARS.

• Capability to research regulatory requirements pertaining to customer contracts.

• Proficient in advanced MS Word redlining.

• Skilled in Excel.

• Experience with SharePoint/Teams.

• Ability to analyze and chart complex data sets.

• Understanding of General Provisions, Terms & Conditions, FAR, DFARS, mandatory flow-down requirements, and supplier agreement compliance.
