Senior Specialist, Proposals & Client Service

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Oversee the coordination, preparation, and delivery of proposals, RFIs, and associated client service activities.

• Create and evaluate budgets as well as pricing analyses for client proposals.

• Manage RFI questionnaires and sustain RFI response databases.

• Collaborate with cross-departmental stakeholders to collect information and ensure the submission of high-quality proposals.

• Provide training, mentoring, quality review, and specialized budget tool assistance for proposal associates and specialists.

• Monitor and analyze KPIs to enhance operational effectiveness and support continuous improvement.

• Suggest and implement process improvements.

• Assist in proposal management activities and other critical business initiatives as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree is required, preferably in Life Sciences or Business.

• 3-5 years of experience in preparing proposals and budgets within the clinical trial industry, ideally within a CRO setting.

• Proven expertise in developing Strategic, Full Service, and Preferred Provider RFP responses.

• Strong understanding of early-phase clinical study designs, including healthy volunteer, patient, and multi-site studies.

• Advanced skills in creating customized budgets and assembling complex proposal documentation and responses.

• Excellent analytical, mathematical, organizational, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities.

• Capability to influence and collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, including management, while managing competing priorities and deadlines.

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Word and Excel.

• Proficiency in English.
