Senior Specialist, Payroll

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Ensure that client payroll information is precise within their dedicated payroll system and address any discrepancies.

• Review and/or execute payrolls to meet client deadlines, which includes updating employee records, calculating and disbursing bonuses or severance, examining federal and state income tax calculations, and reconciling payroll deposits, tax withholdings, and wage garnishments.

• Prepare reports detailing employee earnings, taxes, deductions, and employer contributions for social security and unemployment.

• Build strong client relationships and provide consultation on payroll-related topics.

• Safeguard the confidentiality of employee information.

• Effectively communicate detailed information in both written and verbal forms.

• Offer technical software support to clients.

• Identify and document out-of-scope work and new service opportunities.

• Assist in implementation activities and interview clients to comprehend their payroll needs.

• Oversee new client implementation projects to ensure timely completion and client satisfaction.

• Educate clients on payroll processes.

• Support new employees and less experienced staff members.

• Provide feedback and share insights and lessons learned.

• Research and stay updated on product knowledge related to ADP software platforms.

• Keep abreast of local, state, and federal practices and legislation.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of relevant payroll experience.

• Proficiency in ADP WFN software along with implementation experience.

• Familiarity with Outlook and the Microsoft Office Suite.

• Highly detail-oriented with a strong emphasis on accuracy.

• Excellent organizational and time management skills.

• Strong adaptability and multitasking capabilities.

• Ability to thrive in a deadline-driven environment while serving multiple clients.
