Associate Director, ERP Application Developer – Payroll, UKG

📋 Description

• Provide leadership in technology and product delivery for enterprise Payroll and Workforce Management.

• Drive technology strategy, platform stewardship, execution of delivery, availability, and technical resource capabilities for Oracle Fusion Cloud Payroll and UKG platforms.

• Collaborate with Payroll, HR, Finance, and operational leaders to establish product strategies, roadmaps, priorities, and measurable outcomes.

• Convert business strategy, workforce needs, regulatory requirements, and user demands into sustainable technology capabilities.

• Develop product roadmaps, backlogs, governance, and delivery methodologies.

• Co-lead multidisciplinary teams focused on Payroll and Workforce Management products.

• Oversee continuous delivery of new capabilities, platform releases, integrations, optimizations, technical debt, regulatory changes, and production support.

• Maintain controls for testing, release readiness, change management, issue resolution, production support, and business continuity.

• Ensure coordination among Oracle HCM, Payroll, UKG, Finance, identity/access, integrations, reporting, and enterprise data platforms.

• Hold accountability for platform reliability, service performance, security, technical health, quality of delivery, and financial stewardship.

• Lead the resolution of critical application and integration challenges.

• Communicate product strategy, roadmaps, outcomes, investments, operational performance, risks, and decisions to senior leadership.

• Build, lead, coach, and develop multidisciplinary technology teams.

• Determine the optimal blend of internal staff, strategic partners, consultants, and vendor resources.

• Create succession plans and enhance technical and functional capabilities.

• Promote the responsible adoption of AI, automation, analytics, workflow, and agent-based capabilities.

• Identify opportunities to automate processes, enhance controls, improve issue detection, simplify the technology landscape, minimize customization and technical debt, and elevate user experience.


⛳️ Requirements

• Over eight (8) years of experience in application development within a complex multi-platform environment, ideally supporting Oracle HCM and HR products.

• At least four (4) years of direct management experience, including the implementation of vendor packaged systems.

• Proven experience in leading teams during complex enterprise-level implementations and support of vendor-supplied software.

• Demonstrated expertise in software development, client/server architectures, relational databases, systems integration, and networking technologies.

• Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Healthcare, or a related field in Computer Science.

• Preferred certifications include Oracle Fusion Cloud Payroll Certification and/or UKG Pro Workforce Management Certification.

• PMP and/or ScrumMaster (CSM preferred) certification is advantageous.
