Senior Specialist, Outsourced Payroll – ADP WFN

📋 Description

• Ensure the accuracy of client payroll information within their designated payroll system and address any discrepancies.

• Review and/or process payrolls to meet client deadlines, which includes updating employee records, calculating and disbursing bonuses or severance, reviewing federal and state income tax calculations, and reconciling payroll deposits, tax withholdings, and wage garnishments.

• Generate reports detailing employee earnings, taxes, deductions, and employer contributions for social security and unemployment purposes.

• Build and maintain trusted relationships with clients while providing consultation on payroll-related matters.

• Uphold the confidentiality of employee data at all times.

• Communicate detailed information effectively in both written and verbal formats.

• Offer technical software support to clients as needed.

• Identify and capture out-of-scope work along with new service opportunities.

• Assist implementation teams as required.

• Conduct interviews with clients to assess their payroll needs.

• Oversee new client implementation projects to ensure timely completion and client satisfaction.

• Provide training to clients regarding payroll processes.

• Offer support and feedback to new hires and less experienced staff members.

• Share insights and lessons learned to enhance team capabilities.

• Research and keep updated on ADP software platforms.

• Maintain awareness of local, state, and federal practices and laws.


⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years of relevant payroll experience is required.

• A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in lieu of a degree is acceptable.

• Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) designation is preferred.

• Proficient in ADP WFN software along with experience in implementation.

• Familiarity with Outlook and the Microsoft Office Suite.

• Highly detail-oriented with a strong emphasis on accuracy.

• Excellent organizational and time management abilities.

• Strong adaptability and multi-tasking capabilities.

• Proven ability to thrive in a deadline-driven environment while serving multiple clients.

• Demonstrated ability to provide exceptional client service.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate professionally at all levels.

• Quick learner of new technology and processes.

• Ability to learn from experiences and integrate new knowledge and skills into daily work, sharing insights with colleagues as appropriate.
