Senior Specialist, Epic Solution Delivery

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Deliver expert-level assistance across various Epic modules

• Support intricate development projects and cross-functional initiatives

• Aid in managing complete product lifecycles

• Serve as a bridge between technical teams and stakeholders

• Mentor team members while upholding quality standards

• Shape the strategic vision for enhancements in the Epic system

• Conduct workflow evaluations and recommend advanced Epic solutions for tailored workflows or integrations

• Review and assess detailed requirements to ensure accurate solution deployment

• Assist in planning, scheduling, and resource management for Epic implementation initiatives

• Lead smaller projects and development efforts within the Epic application

• Oversee specific features and smaller development projects, directing configuration and design for a module or advanced feature

• Guide and mentor Analysts and Senior Analysts on project responsibilities, troubleshooting, and Epic configurations

• Execute thorough testing and validation to ensure systems fulfill user requirements

• Identify and resolve complex issues independently

• Engage directly with clients and internal stakeholders to clarify and meet requirements

• Facilitate knowledge transfer and training on developed solutions to end-users

• Offer innovative suggestions to enhance system efficiency and user experience

• Provide consistent feedback to Epic regarding potential system enhancements

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in healthcare IT, Epic product development, and/or enterprise software delivery

• More than 5 years of Epic experience with a profound understanding of Epic system configurations, workflows, and best practices

• Associate’s Degree in Healthcare, Information Technology, Informatics, or related fields, or equivalent experience

• Advanced knowledge of the Epic system with extensive technical expertise across multiple Epic modules

• Required Epic certification in one or more relevant applications must be completed and maintained: Cadence, Prelude

• Capability to take initiative and lead smaller project teams and development efforts autonomously

• Strong project management abilities, including progress reporting, risk assessment, and time tracking

• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for client-facing responsibilities and team leadership

• Ability to adapt to rapid changes in the workplace, including adjustments in scheduling, workflows, policies, or processes

• Capacity to maintain agility and flexibility in response to evolving business needs
