This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Collaborate with sales partners to formulate territory and account strategies as well as campaigns.
• Comprehend customer needs in relation to security architectures spanning data centers, cloud, and enterprise environments.
• Monitor and document various facets of the sales cycle, particularly those that fall under the responsibilities of the Sales Engineer.
• Conduct proof of concept and proof of value initiatives.
• Prepare and deliver technical presentations that clarify the functionality of products and services.
• Secure orders, uphold product standards, and ensure timely product delivery.
• Suggest new and enhanced products, detailing how they can be more cost-effective.
• Actively engage with the broader technical team, sharing insights and best practices.
• Collaborate with State, Local, and Education prospects and customers within the West territory, aligning their objectives and needs with SentinelOne offerings.
• Initially assist customers during implementation, transitioning to a focus on pre-sales engineering.
• A minimum of 7 years of experience in cyber security, ideally in endpoint cyber defense.
• Proven experience in handling objections and positioning against competitor technologies.
• Demonstrable ability to engage with both small and large audiences effectively.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for leading business and technical presentations, demonstrations, and discussions with both executives and technical stakeholders.
• Proven track record of successfully selling to mid-size and large organizations.
• Capability to provide first-level technical support throughout the sales cycle.
• Basic understanding of hacking and exploitation tools and methodologies, detection evasion techniques, and key malware and anti-malware solutions and techniques.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time.
• Preferred experience in computer forensics, security architecture, penetration testing or red teaming, or incident response.
