Senior Solutions Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Australia.

📋 Description

• Assist in the growth of mid-enterprise customers

• Report directly to the Manager of Solutions Engineering

• Collaborate with regional account executives as a trusted advisor in cloud security across AWS, Azure, and GCP

• Work alongside the sales team to provide technical expertise and support in achieving quarterly sales objectives

• Conduct customer presentations, utilize whiteboards, showcase product demonstrations, create slides, and deliver proof-of-value results

• Aid customers in planning comprehensive test strategies to highlight the value of the Wiz platform in their environments

• Stay updated on new product features and industry trends while enhancing technical skills

• Represent Wiz at trade shows, technical meet-ups, and industry-related events

• Willingness to travel up to 40%

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in a sales engineering role providing solutions to C-level executives at key accounts

• Background in cloud security

• Practical experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP

• Experience in network engineering

• Strong knowledge of operating systems, virtual machines, and containers

• Willingness to travel up to 40%

• Legal authorization to work in Australia without the need for visa sponsorship

• Preferred: Familiarity with traditional CSPM tools

• Preferred: Experience in SaaS

• Preferred: Understanding of the CI/CD process

• Preferred: Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code

• Preferred: Capability to deliver exceptional demonstrations and training to channel customers

• Preferred: Understanding of risk-based security assessments and frameworks

• Preferred: Knowledge of cloud identity, access management, certificates, and keys
