Senior Solutions Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with sales executives and clients to showcase how the Neo4j Graph Intelligence Platform meets business requirements.

• Act as a technical consultant and champion for Neo4j products and services.

• Lead and manage the technology evaluation phase throughout the sales process.

• Oversee various opportunities, including qualification, technical exploration, presentations, demonstrations, value proofs, sizing, and documentation of technical decision-making criteria.

• Establish strong relationships with customer stakeholders and serve as a trusted advisor.

• Co-develop reference and solution architectures that integrate Neo4j with existing systems and applications in both public cloud and on-premise settings.

• Keep updated on Neo4j functionalities and third-party integrations.

• Relay customer requirements and product insights to Product Management, Engineering, Marketing, and Sales teams.

• Assist in demand generation through account-based marketing initiatives, conferences, and trade shows.

• Promote teamwork, openness, innovation, and ongoing improvement.

• Travel as necessary to support deal creation and closure, as well as team assistance.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of customer-facing experience in a comparable role (Sales/Presales/Solutions Engineer, Solutions Architect, Technical Consultant, etc.), preferably in a high-growth, scaling environment.

• Experience with various data technologies within enterprise data architecture, data analytics, data science, or cloud data architecture.

• Essential familiarity with graph data technology.

• Strong working knowledge of Neo4j is highly advantageous.

• Practical experience and proficiency with relational (SQL) and/or NoSQL databases.

• Proficiency in at least one of the following programming languages: Python, Java, JavaScript, Go, or C#.

• Proven track record in designing, developing, and implementing data solutions in AWS, Azure, GCP, or on-premise environments.

• Ability to convey ideas effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences through presentations, whiteboarding, and platform demonstrations.

• Technical knowledge combined with business insight to convert technical concepts into meaningful business results.

• Enthusiasm for learning new technologies, developing data modeling strategies, and leading change management initiatives.
