Senior Solutions Consultant, Supply Chain Optimization

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Analyze the business performance challenges faced by customers and assist in resolving intricate supply chain management problems.

• Collaborate with both new and existing clients to offer expert advice on integrating Kinaxis product solutions.

• Serve as the functional lead during the deployment of Maestro supply chain software projects.

• Facilitate sessions to gather business requirements for complex, multi-phase implementations.

• Collaborate with Solution Architects on designing processes and determining technical direction for intricate configurations.

• Implement advanced product configurations according to client specifications and the approved solution architecture.

• Act as the first point of escalation for intricate configuration problems and manage troubleshooting and resolution efforts.

• Utilize mathematical models, optimization strategies, and AI algorithms to address complex supply chain planning scenarios.

• Validate and test solutions, gather user feedback, and formulate recommendations for escalations, obstacles, and documentation.

• Facilitate complex deployment workshops and educate clients on configured solutions and the realization of value.

• Provide technical guidance and recommendations to Associate, Entry, and Intermediate Solution Consultants.

• Mentor junior consultants throughout the project lifecycle.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations Research, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Statistics, Information Technology, or a related discipline.

• Over 5 years of extensive experience in software implementation or deployment in supply chain planning or execution, or relevant business experience in supply planning, demand planning, inventory management, or manufacturing.

• 2 to 3 years of experience in a functional leadership role regarding system configurations or deployments.

• 2 to 3 years of experience in business process design for supply chain software implementations.

• Strong skills in interpersonal communication, facilitation, and presentations.

• Exceptional problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.

• Self-motivated individual who demonstrates initiative and thrives in a dynamic work environment.

• Proven leadership capabilities within a team setting and a successful history with customers and executive sponsors.

• Ability to operate effectively in a collaborative, matrixed environment with multiple team members.

• Proficient in articulating complex concepts clearly, both verbally and in writing.

• Advanced knowledge and practical application of supply chain best practices related to forecasting, MRP, Constraint Management, and Production Scheduling.

• Competence in leading intricate business requirements gathering sessions with clients and system end users.

• Familiarity with supply chain processes and manufacturing planning solutions such as Maestro, SAP, Oracle, or Blue Yonder.

• Proficient in SQL, R, and/or JavaScript.

• Willingness to travel approximately 50% of the time, with occasional travel up to 75%, and the ability to work effectively remotely from client locations.
