Senior Solutions Consultant – Fluent in Portuguese/English

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Act as a reliable technical advisor for customers in North America and Latin America, assessing Dropbox for security, data protection, and governance strategies.

• Collaborate with Account Executives during the sales process as the technical and security subject matter expert.

• Conduct technical discovery regarding customers' security frameworks, sensitive data environments, access models, security operations, compliance needs, and business goals.

• Assist customers in identifying risks related to sensitive content, excessive access, external sharing, inappropriate permissions, and potential data loss.

• Convert customer security requirements into solution architectures, controls, workflows, demonstrations, and technical validation plans.

• Showcase Dropbox's security and data protection features through customer-specific use cases.

• Design and implement proofs of concept and technical evaluations with clearly defined success criteria and measurable outcomes.

• Provide guidance to customers on how Dropbox integrates within their larger security ecosystem, which includes identity management, DLP, CASB/SSE, SIEM/SOAR, and data security platforms.

• Interact with Security, IT, Risk, Compliance, business practitioners, and executive stakeholders.

• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Product Marketing, and other technical experts to convey customer needs and gather field feedback.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 4 years of experience in a customer-facing technical role.

• Background in Solutions Consulting, Sales Engineering, Security Architecture, Security Consulting, or a similar role, which includes technical discovery, solution design, demonstrations, and technical validation with enterprise clients.

• Solid understanding of enterprise security architecture and contemporary methods for safeguarding sensitive data in SaaS and cloud environments.

• In-depth knowledge of Data Loss Prevention (DLP), data classification, and sensitive data discovery, encompassing policy creation, detection, alerting, investigation, and remediation.

• Comprehensive understanding of Data Access Governance (DAG) and Data Security Posture Management (DSPM), focusing on effective permissions, excessive access, external sharing, public exposure, sensitive data exposure, risk prioritization, least privilege, and remediation.

• Strong familiarity with CASB technologies and the integration of SaaS into enterprise security architecture, including DLP, SSE/SASE, SIEM/SOAR, and other data security measures.

• Knowledge of IAM and Zero Trust principles, such as SSO, SAML, OAuth/OIDC, SCIM, MFA, RBAC, and conditional access.

• Capability to translate intricate security risks and customer requirements into architectures, controls, demonstrations, and proof-of-value criteria.

• Proficiency in Portuguese and English.

• Willingness to travel both domestically and internationally, up to 20% of the time.

• Preferred: experience with DSPM, DAG, data governance, or data classification platforms like Varonis, Cyera, BigID, or Microsoft Purview.

• Preferred: familiarity with Netskope, Palo Alto Networks, Zscaler, Microsoft Defender for Cloud Apps, Forcepoint, or Broadcom/Symantec DLP.

• Preferred: experience with Microsoft Entra ID, Okta, or Ping Identity.

• Preferred: understanding of SIEM/SOAR platforms, APIs, OAuth, event and audit logs, and security integrations.

• Preferred: experience applying NIST CSF, CIS Controls, ISO 27001, SOC 2, HIPAA, GDPR, or PCI DSS.

• Relevant industry certifications are appreciated but not mandatory.
