Senior Solutions Architect – Travel and Hospitality

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Serve as the primary technical representative for Databricks, managing up to 9 clients.

• Guide customers through a transformative process of evaluating and adopting Databricks.

• Execute the technical strategy tailored to each individual account.

• Cultivate a network of technical advocates within customer organizations.

• Synchronize technical strategies with Databricks solutions.

• Offer structured mentorship to fellow team members.

• Collaborate with Account Executives and practical resources to develop proofs of concept and showcase Databricks products.

• Leverage ML and AI expertise to address pertinent use cases in Retail and CPG sectors.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 6 years of experience managing substantial Retail and CPG-related accounts (greater than $1 million ARR).

• More than 4 years of experience in a pre-sales role or supporting sales initiatives.

• Strong technical proficiency in big data, data science, and cloud technologies.

• Expertise in data-driven business transformation and facilitating change through data.

• At least 3 years of design and implementation experience with big data technologies, such as Hadoop, NoSQL, MPP, OLTP, and OLAP, or full lifecycle data science solutions.

• Capability to maintain and enhance production data systems to adapt to complex customer requirements.

• Experience with programming in Python, R, Scala, or Java.

• Databricks Certification is a plus.

• Employment may be contingent on U.S. government licensing discretion if access to export-controlled technology or source code is necessary.
