
Senior Solutions Architect β InfiniBand and Networking Ethernet

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Australia.
β’ Develop AI/HPC infrastructure for both new and existing clientele.
β’ Assist in the operational and reliability facets of large-scale AI clusters, emphasizing performance at scale, real-time monitoring, logging, and alerting.
β’ Participate in and enhance the complete service lifecycle, from conception and design to deployment, operation, and refinement.
β’ Sustain live services by evaluating and monitoring availability, latency, and overall system health.
β’ Provide insights to internal teams by reporting bugs, documenting workarounds, and recommending enhancements.
β’ Collaborate with customers, partners, and internal teams to analyze, define, and execute large-scale networking initiatives.
β’ Integrate networking, system design, and automation tasks while acting as NVIDIAβs representative to customers.
β’ BS/MS/PhD or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Electrical/Computer Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, or related disciplines.
β’ A minimum of 5+ years of professional experience in networking fundamentals, Ethernet, or InfiniBand.
β’ Practical experience with network switch/router platforms such as Cumulus Linux, SONiC, IOS, JunosOS, and EOS.
β’ Strong working knowledge of Ethernet, InfiniBand, and RDMA core concepts.
β’ Expertise in end-to-end IB/Ethernet cluster deployment, adapter configuration, firmware upkeep, and performance benchmarking using mainstream RDMA testing tools.
β’ Capability to independently diagnose and resolve IB/Ethernet network anomalies, including link flapping, connection failures, bandwidth problems, and latency jitter.
β’ Familiarity with RDMA network optimization techniques, such as QP tuning, MTU configuration, and congestion control optimization.
β’ Hands-on involvement in RDMA-accelerated business applications, including distributed storage and high-performance computing clusters.
β’ Extensive experience in delivering automated network provisioning solutions utilizing Ansible, Salt, and Python.
β’ Proficient in developing CI/CD pipelines for network operations.
β’ Excellent written, verbal, and listening abilities in English.
β’ Advanced Linux or Networking Certifications (considered a differentiator).
β’ Experience with high-performance computing architectures and job schedulers like Slurm and PBS (considered a differentiator).
β’ Knowledge of cluster management technologies, with bonus points for BCM (Base Command Manager).
β’ Experience with GPU-focused hardware/software (considered a differentiator).
