This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• Collaborate with academic institutions and research partners located in the Greater London area.
• Act as the main technical point of contact and a reliable technical advisor for clients.
• Gain insights into research objectives and lead collaborative research initiatives at supercomputing scale.
• Recognize and expedite high-impact workloads by incorporating NVIDIA frameworks, libraries, and core software stack into research efforts.
• Assist researchers in enhancing their influence through publications, conference presentations, and technical content.
• Promote accelerated computing and deep learning methodologies.
• Conduct hands-on training sessions, workshops, lectures, and demonstrations utilizing NVIDIA platforms.
• Mentor advanced users to cultivate NVIDIA champions.
• Monitor emerging research trends and develop prototype solutions tailored to researcher requirements.
• Provide direct feedback to NVIDIA Engineering.
• Maintain extensive domain knowledge across NVIDIA's platform, including GPUs, CPUs, networking, and software.
• Travel approximately 30% of the time and utilize conferencing tools to assist clients.
• A graduate degree from a prestigious university in a STEM-related field.
• Over 5 years of practical experience managing the large language model lifecycle across multi-node systems: training, fine-tuning, inference, serving, and/or agentic workflows.
• Excellent collaboration and communication abilities.
• Capability to foster relationships with academic and research stakeholders.
• Proficient in conveying complex concepts clearly to both expert and non-expert audiences.
• Driven, analytical, self-motivated, passionate about learning, with outstanding organizational skills.
• Fluent in English, both spoken and written.
• Comfortable working with Python.
• Preferred: PhD from a distinguished university in a STEM-related discipline, with over 3 years of research experience on large language models or foundation models and their applications.
• Preferred: Proven record of thought leadership, including impactful publications and presentations at academic conferences and workshops.
• Preferred: Familiarity with scientific policy engagement, grant processes, or national/European research program frameworks.
• Preferred: Experience with NVIDIA's AI software stack, including CUDA, CUDA-X libraries, NVIDIA AI Enterprise, NeMo Framework, Megatron Bridge, NIM, TensorRT-LLM, Dynamo, NeMo Agent Toolkit, Triton Inference Server, and Nemotron open-model methodology.
• Travel involved (30% of working time).
