This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.
• Collaborate directly with premier research laboratories, scholars, and university faculty as a reliable technical advisor.
• Comprehend customers' scientific objectives and propel joint research initiatives at supercomputing scale.
• Identify and expedite high-impact workloads.
• Incorporate NVIDIA frameworks, libraries, and core software stack into research endeavors.
• Assist researchers in enhancing their influence through publications, conference presentations, and technical content.
• Promote accelerated computing and AI methodologies for scientific discovery.
• Provide hands-on training, workshops, lectures, and demonstrations across NVIDIA platforms.
• Guide power users to become NVIDIA advocates.
• Monitor emerging research trends.
• Transform gaps between researcher requirements and NVIDIA solutions into prototype offerings.
• Offer direct insights to NVIDIA Engineering.
• Maintain extensive domain expertise in NVIDIA's GPUs, CPUs, networking, and software.
• Travel for in-person customer meetings as necessary.
• Utilize conferencing tools to enhance customer success.
• A graduate degree from a prestigious university in a STEM-related field or equivalent experience.
• Over 5 years of experience at the intersection of HPC and AI.
• Proven experience executing scientific workloads at scale on multi-node GPU systems.
• Experience in applying machine learning techniques to scientific workloads.
• Strong skills in collaboration and communication.
• Ability to cultivate relationships with academic and research stakeholders.
• Capability to convey complex concepts clearly to both expert and non-expert audiences.
• Action-oriented, analytical, self-motivated, and enthusiastic about learning.
• Excellent organizational skills in a highly multi-tasked setting.
• Proficient in English, both spoken and written.
• Comfortable programming in Python.
• Willingness to travel.
• Preferred: PhD from a prestigious university in a STEM-related discipline, with more than 3 years of research experience in computational science combined with AI.
• Preferred: Demonstrated record of thought leadership, including impactful publications and presentations at academic conferences and workshops.
• Preferred: Understanding of scientific policy engagement, grant application processes, or national/European research program frameworks.
• Preferred: Experience with NVIDIA's accelerated computing stack for scientific applications, powered by CUDA and CUDA-X libraries, such as PhysicsNeMo, Warp, cuEquivariance, ALCHEMI, and Omniverse.
