Senior Solutions Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Identify business needs, domains, and capabilities, converting them into technical requirements and solutions.

• Establish the solution architecture, encompassing architectural patterns, components, integrations, and communication flows.

• Create solutions with an emphasis on performance, scalability, resilience, availability, and security.

• Assess and choose technologies based on requirements, impacts, costs, and their integration with the current environment.

• Examine the solution’s influence on applications, data, security, and infrastructure.

• Document architectures, workflows, technical decisions, and potential for evolution.

• Specify metrics, monitoring, observability, and alerts for tracking solutions.

• Recognize technical risks and assist in defining mitigation strategies.

• Offer technical leadership to teams during both the definition and implementation of solutions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in solution architecture, systems integration, and process optimization initiatives.

• Expertise in analyzing business, functional, and non-functional requirements.

• In-depth knowledge of microservices, APIs, messaging, and integration patterns.

• Familiarity with Java, .NET, Python, Node.js, and cloud technologies.

• Understanding of information security principles, including authentication, authorization, and encryption.

• Knowledge of monitoring, observability, and version control of code.

• Experience in solution modeling and estimating infrastructure and licensing costs.

• Background in agile development environments.

• Strong systems thinking and critical-analysis capabilities.

• Ability to convert business needs into technical solutions.

• Excellent communication and negotiation skills with both technical and business stakeholders.

• Capacity to make technical decisions grounded in data, impacts, and constraints.

• Strong organizational skills and clarity in solution documentation.

• Technical leadership experience.

• Preferred: familiarity with Transition Architecture.

• Preferred: experience in modernizing and migrating systems to new architectures.

• Preferred: ability to evaluate the risks, impacts, advantages, and limitations of technology decisions.
