Senior Solutions Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Analyze and develop both technical and functional solution architecture designs.

• Evaluate solutions considering factors like security, performance, technological continuity, product consistency, team expertise, delivery timelines, and quality.

• Ensure implementations are secure and resilient.

• Examine business requirements and convert them into suitable IT solutions.

• Identify chances to create reusable components and APIs, ensuring their utilization by development teams.

• Create, manage, and refine high-level architectures.

• Generate strategic and standardized documentation, which includes building blocks, reference architectures, and standards.

• Define standards, principles, and best practices for system development and implementation.

• Identify, endorse, and govern reusable enterprise components along with their design standards.

• Develop and uphold the company's strategic IT architecture vision.

• Document application standards in alignment with the enterprise architecture.

• Assist technical teams, business teams, and senior management with strategic solutions and decision-making.

• Monitor solution architecture management and reuse KPIs.

• Conduct proof of concepts (POCs) with emerging technologies and use cases.

• Assess and select new technologies and platforms for enterprise adoption.

• Perform technical and financial feasibility analyses for IT projects.

• Act as the primary contact for technical inquiries and critical decision-making matters.

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated experience in application architecture, solution architecture, and solution design.

• Excellent communication skills with the ability to negotiate priorities effectively.

• Familiarity with containerized (Docker) and orchestrated (Kubernetes) microservices solutions.

• Experience as a specialist in one or more IT domains, complemented by a generalist profile (T-shaped expertise).

• Extensive knowledge of backend technologies (Java or Python) and frontend technologies (Angular) for architectural decision-making.

• Understanding of messaging and event-driven tools such as RabbitMQ and Kafka.

• Proficiency in DDD, BDD, microservices, microfrontends, design patterns, SOLID principles, service mesh, and Enterprise Integration Patterns.

• Practical experience with cloud application solutions (AWS).

• Background in managing innovation roadmaps.

• Experience in designing, planning, and guiding solution strategies and architectures, encompassing hardware, software, networks, data, and processes.

• Strong skills in planning, organization, documentation, and negotiating deadlines and requirements.

• Experience in analyzing present and future IT needs, along with evaluating and selecting new technologies and tools.

• Proven track record of providing technical leadership to teams.

• Knowledge of big data solutions is advantageous: Data Lake, Data Warehouse, ETL, BI, Data Mesh, and MLOps.
