Senior Solutions Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Act as a technical subject-matter expert and strategic advisor for clients, partners, and internal teams.

• Function as a trusted technical consultant for enterprise clients, partners, and field sales teams throughout the customer lifecycle.

• Comprehend customer business objectives, technical necessities, application architectures, and cloud transformation strategies.

• Create comprehensive solution architectures utilizing CaaS, Kubernetes, cloud-native infrastructure, storage, networking, and automation technologies.

• Facilitate technical discovery sessions, architecture workshops, whiteboarding sessions, and high-level technical discussions.

• Present technical information and tailored customer demonstrations.

• Assist account teams with technical strategies, proposals, RFP/RFI responses, and solution positioning.

• Convert complex technical ideas into clear business results.

• Develop proof-of-concepts and construct automation frameworks that enhance adoption and migration across diverse cloud environments.

• Report directly to the Senior Director of Presales within the Global Presales Organization.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical discipline; equivalent experience may be accepted.

• Over 8 years of experience in solutions architecture, systems engineering, cloud architecture, technical consulting, presales, or a related domain.

• Significant hands-on experience with Cloud-as-a-Service (CaaS) and cloud-native technologies.

• Profound understanding of Kubernetes and container technologies.

• Strong knowledge of cloud infrastructure and at least one major public cloud platform such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud.

• Solid understanding of storage technologies, distributed systems, and persistent storage for cloud-native workloads.

• Strong grasp of cloud-native networking and Kubernetes networking principles.

• Practical experience in developing automation using Python, Go, Bash, Terraform, Ansible, APIs, or similar tools.

• Experience in designing and implementing Proofs of Concept and customer demonstrations.

• Experience in developing automation frameworks for cloud migration, workload migration, or infrastructure transformation.

• Strong understanding of hybrid-cloud and multi-cloud architectures.

• Excellent communication, presentation, technical writing, and customer-facing abilities.

• Capacity to collaborate effectively with highly technical engineering teams and executive stakeholders.

• Willingness to travel globally when necessary.

• Successful candidates must undergo a security clearance process concerning citizenship.

• Candidates must possess the legal ability to fulfill fundamental job responsibilities under applicable security-clearance requirements.
