This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Tennessee.
• Generate revenue by selling MedTech solutions, digital sponsorships, advertising, and integrated marketing products.
• Increase sales for media offerings, such as digital experiences, digital advertisements and listings, sponsored content, whitepapers, and newsletters; additionally, create and implement a sales strategy for key digital and live events, including webinars, roundtables, and conferences.
• Showcase innovative marketing solutions that assist brands and their marketing agencies in utilizing HealthStream’s array of apps and websites alongside its social media channels.
• Provide clients with campaign effectiveness reports, detailing reach, traffic, engagement, lead generation, and ROI/ROAS.
• Identify and cultivate new business prospects through outreach, networking, and industry involvement.
• Recognize, qualify, and progress opportunities by aligning customer needs with customized solutions while securing stakeholder agreement.
• Create and deliver persuasive proposals, which include product demonstrations, sponsorship packages, and ROI-focused business cases.
• Negotiate contracts and finalize deals that fulfill customer objectives and contribute to company revenue targets.
• Establish and nurture strong, long-lasting relationships with clients to enhance renewals, retention, and upsell prospects.
• Collaborate with internal teams to devise and implement solutions that meet client goals and organizational capabilities.
• Oversee and maintain a robust sales pipeline using CRM tools, ensuring precise forecasting and reporting.
• Formulate and execute strategic account and territory plans.
• Provide post-sale support and performance reporting, which includes campaign effectiveness and ROI metrics.
• Stay updated on market trends, customer requirements, and the competitive landscape to pinpoint growth opportunities.
• Ensure adherence to company policies, including security and data protection standards.
• Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
• 7+ years of experience in consultative sales, ideally within healthcare, MedTech, and/or digital media/sponsorship sales.
• Demonstrated success in achieving or surpassing sales targets in competitive settings.
• Experience in selling to and developing relationships with executive-level stakeholders.
• Strong consultative selling, negotiation, and closing abilities.
• Capability to create innovative, value-oriented proposals and sponsorship packages.
• Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Familiarity with CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce) and sales pipeline management.
• Analytical mindset with the capacity to interpret data and relay performance metrics (ROI, engagement, etc.).
• High emotional intelligence and the ability to foster trust with both internal and external stakeholders.
• Strong organizational skills to handle multiple opportunities concurrently.
• Ability to function effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative, and matrixed team environment.
• Self-driven with a strong sense of accountability and ownership.
• Skilled at influencing cross-functional teams without direct authority.
• Solid business acumen with the aptitude to connect solutions to customer outcomes.
• Ability to convey complex solutions in a clear and convincing manner.
• Highly motivated to achieve both individual and team sales objectives.
