Senior Solution Engineer – Tax

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Acquire a comprehensive understanding of the tax solution, including its features, benefits, and competitive edge.

• Work alongside the sales team to discern client needs and customize presentations accordingly.

• Perform product demonstrations for both technical and non-technical audiences.

• Partner with prospects to create personalized solutions that align with their business processes and goals.

• Take ownership of the technical execution of tailored proofs of concept and demonstrations.

• Convert customer requirements into persuasive proof points to expedite deal closures and build client trust.

• Aid in the development of proposals and responses to RFPs.

• Collect insights from interactions with prospects to guide product development and improve solutions.

• Engage in webinars as a tax subject matter expert.

• Deliver demos for webinar topics and produce general videos for marketing and sales teams.

• Report directly to the Director of Solution Engineering.

• Provide pre-sales support and partner enablement for the tax business unit.

⛳️ Requirements

• Background in tax roles, preferably with experience in client-facing consulting.

• Experience presenting to diverse teams, from staff-level accountants to Vice Presidents of Tax or Finance.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.

• Ability to think on your feet, respond to customer inquiries, and explain complex technical concepts clearly.

• Proficient in tax platforms.

• Strong grasp of tax provision, transfer pricing, and BEPS reporting requirements.

• Excellent analytical abilities and a proactive approach to identifying and solving client issues.

• Willingness to travel up to 10% of the time.

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Tax.

• Experience supporting a software platform/product in a customer-facing B2B setting.

• Familiarity with implementing or integrating Longview Tax and/or tax software platforms.

• Experience in developing technical solutions.

• Proficiency in German is a significant advantage.
