Senior Solution Engineer – Tax

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Netherlands.

📋 Description

• Report directly to the Director of Solution Engineering.

• Manage product demonstrations, pre-sales support, and partner enablement for the tax business unit.

• Act as a liaison between sales and post-sales teams by guiding prospects on how products can address their business challenges.

• Cultivate a thorough understanding of the tax solution, including its features, benefits, and competitive advantages.

• Collaborate with the sales team to ascertain client needs and customize presentations accordingly.

• Execute product demonstrations for both technical and non-technical audiences.

• Design bespoke solutions that align with the business processes and objectives of prospects.

• Take ownership of the technical delivery of configured proofs of concept and demonstrations.

• Assist in the preparation of proposals and responses to RFPs.

• Collect prospect feedback to inform product development and enhance solutions.

• Engage in webinars as a tax subject matter expert.

• Create general videos for marketing and sales teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• Experience in tax roles (industry/public accounting, preferably with client-facing consulting experience).

• Proven experience presenting to diverse teams, ranging from staff-level accountants to Vice Presidents of Tax or Finance.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.

• Ability to think on your feet, respond to customer inquiries, and articulate complex technical concepts clearly.

• Proficient in tax platforms.

• Solid understanding of tax provision, transfer pricing, and BEPS reporting requirements.

• Strong analytical skills with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving client challenges.

• Willingness to travel up to 10% of the time.

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Tax.

• Experience in supporting a software platform/product in a customer-facing B2B environment.

• Familiarity with implementing or integrating Longview Tax and/or tax software platforms.

• Experience in developing technical solutions.

• Must be fluent in English.

• Proficiency in German is a significant advantage.
