Senior Solution Engineer, Retail & Consumer Goods

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Present the vision and technology of Snowflake to both executives and technical stakeholders at prospective and existing clients.

• Engage directly with prospects and customers throughout the entire sales process, from demonstrations and proofs of concept to design and implementation.

• Clearly demonstrate and convey the advantages of Snowflake technology.

• Maintain a comprehensive understanding of competitive and complementary technologies and vendors.

• Position Snowflake effectively against competing and complementary technologies.

• Collaborate with teams in Product Management, Engineering, and Marketing to enhance products and marketing strategies.

• Partner with sales teams and channel partners to identify customer needs and successfully navigate sales cycles.

• Assist in enterprise Proofs of Concept and facilitate closing business opportunities.

⛳️ Requirements

• 5–7+ years of experience in the industry, with at least 5 years in a pre-sales role.

• Exceptional presentation skills tailored for both technical and executive audiences.

• Over 5 years of experience in creating and implementing machine learning and generative AI solutions in cloud environments.

• A proactive interest in the AI landscape and the capability to act as a technical thought leader.

• Proficiency in utilizing AI code generation tools.

• Experience with large-scale database and/or data warehouse technologies, ETL, analytics, and cloud solutions.

• Practical expertise in SQL, SQL analytics, and Python.

• Ability to link customer business challenges with Snowflake solutions.

• Capability to conduct in-depth explorations of customer architecture and align it with Snowflake Data Architecture.

• A university degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or a related field, or equivalent experience is preferred.

• Familiarity with Global System Integrators (GSIs) such as EY, Deloitte, or Accenture is advantageous but not mandatory.

• Willingness and ability to travel approximately 25–30% of the time.
