This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.
• Communicate the vision and technology of Snowflake to both executives and technical teams at potential clients and existing customers.
• Engage directly with prospects and customers throughout the entire sales cycle, from providing demonstrations and proofs of concept to design and implementation.
• Assess customer requirements and collaborate with sales teams and channel partners to facilitate successful sales processes.
• Deliver persuasive value-driven demonstrations.
• Assist with enterprise Proofs of Concept and help secure business agreements.
• Maintain an in-depth understanding of competing and complementary technologies and vendors.
• Position Snowflake in relation to competing and complementary technologies effectively.
• Work alongside Product Management, Engineering, and Marketing to enhance Snowflake products and marketing strategies.
• Ensure that data is accessible, usable, and valuable for all stakeholders.
• Safeguard customer information and adhere to company data security protocols.
• 5 to 7+ years of experience in the industry, with at least 5 years in a pre-sales role.
• More than 5 years of experience in developing and deploying machine learning and generative AI solutions in the cloud.
• Exceptional presentation skills tailored for technical and executive audiences.
• A proactive interest in the AI landscape, with the capacity to act as both a visionary and a technical thought leader.
• Proficient in utilizing AI code generation tools.
• Extensive experience with large-scale databases and/or data warehouse technologies, ETL, analytics, and cloud solutions.
• Practical expertise in SQL, SQL analytics, and Python programming.
• Capability to link customer business challenges to Snowflake solutions effectively.
• Ability to thoroughly explore customer architecture frameworks and relate them to Snowflake Data Architecture.
• A university degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or a related field, or equivalent experience is preferred.
• A Master's degree in Data Science or Business Administration is an advantage.
• Familiarity with Global System Integrators (GSIs) like EY, Deloitte, or Accenture is beneficial but not mandatory.
• Willingness and ability to travel approximately 25–30% of the time.
