This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• Take charge of solution engineering for enterprise opportunities within the designated industry, from an in-depth platform exploration to customer decision-making.
• Convert challenges related to supply chain resilience, reporting, carbon management, product compliance, asset operations, and track-and-trace into defined solution scopes.
• Create and present vertical-specific osapiens HUB demonstrations using realistic industry scenarios, terminology, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Collaborate with Solution-Suite SEs to obtain specialist support.
• Manage comprehensive proofs of concept centered on industry value drivers.
• Guide customer integrations with both SAP and non-SAP systems.
• Oversee functional RFPs, RFIs, and IT-integration matters.
• Keep an updated competitive landscape and gather industry references to aid in deal-making.
• Represent osapiens at industry conferences, customer advisory boards, and analyst briefings.
• Work alongside Account Executives on deal strategies, multi-threading, stakeholder mapping, and technical/value-proposition coaching.
• Provide structured industry insights to the Product team to help shape roadmap priorities.
• Mentor junior SEs, contribute to enablement materials and battle cards, and assist in scaling the SE function.
• A minimum of 4 years of experience in solution engineering, presales, tech-focused consulting, or sales engineering within B2B enterprise SaaS.
• Demonstrated experience in the target industry.
• Knowledge of the industry value chain, operating models, regulatory pressures, and the digital landscape.
• Proven track record of managing complex enterprise deals from start to finish, including proofs of concept and security reviews.
• Comfortable handling enterprise deal sizes exceeding €250K.
• Technical proficiency in REST APIs, SAP, identity management/SSO, cloud architecture, enterprise integration patterns, and foundational data modeling.
• Ability to link regulatory or operational challenges to ROI, TCO, and deployment roadmaps.
• Regular utilization of AI for research, demo preparation, and RFP tasks, with an outlook on AI-driven role development.
• Proactive, organized, and composed under pressure; adept at engaging in board-level discussions and Postman sessions.
• Native or near-native proficiency in German is required.
• Fluent in English is necessary.
• Located in the DACH region or elsewhere in Europe, with a willingness to travel approximately 25–35% to clients across the region.
• Proficiency in Italian, Spanish, or French is advantageous.
