Senior Solution Engineer, HCLS

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois, +3 more states.

📋 Description

• Articulate the vision and technology of Snowflake to both executives and technical stakeholders at potential clients and existing customers.

• Engage directly with prospects and customers to showcase and convey the benefits of Snowflake technology throughout the entire sales process, from demonstration to proof of concept, and into design and implementation.

• Stay deeply engaged with the rapidly changing industry by maintaining a thorough understanding of competing and complementary technologies and vendors, positioning Snowflake effectively in this context.

• Work collaboratively with Product Management, Engineering, and Marketing teams to enhance Snowflake’s products and promotional efforts.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 7 years of relevant industry experience, including at least 5 years in a pre-sales role.

• Exceptional presentation skills for addressing both technical and high-level executive audiences.

• More than 5 years of experience in building and deploying machine learning and generative AI solutions on cloud platforms.

• Extensive experience with large-scale Database and/or Data Warehouse technologies, ETL processes, analytics, and cloud solutions.

• Proficient in SQL, SQL analytics, and Python.

• Capability to align a customer's unique business challenges with Snowflake’s solutions.

• Competence in conducting an in-depth analysis of customer architecture frameworks and relating those to Snowflake Data Architecture.

• A university degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience is preferred.

• Experience working with GSIs (such as EY, Deloitte, Accenture, etc.) is advantageous, though not mandatory.

• Willingness to travel approximately 30% of the time.
