Senior Solution Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +2 more states.

📋 Description

• Deliver presentations on Snowflake technology and its vision to both executives and technical stakeholders at potential and existing clients.

• Engage directly with prospects and customers throughout the sales process, including demonstrations, proofs of concept, design, and implementation.

• Comprehend competitive and complementary technologies and vendors to effectively position Snowflake in the market.

• Collaborate with teams from Product Management, Engineering, and Marketing to enhance Snowflake’s products and promotional strategies.

• Work closely with sales teams and channel partners to identify customer requirements and develop effective sales strategies.

• Assist in enterprise Proofs of Concept and facilitate business closures.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 6 years of industry experience, including at least 5 years in a pre-sales role.

• Exceptional presentation skills tailored to both technical and executive audiences.

• Over 5 years of experience in creating and implementing machine learning and generative AI solutions in cloud environments.

• A proactive interest in the AI landscape.

• Demonstrated ability to utilize AI code generation tools effectively.

• Familiarity with large-scale Database and/or Data Warehouse technologies, ETL, analytics, and cloud solutions.

• Proficient in SQL, SQL analytics, and Python.

• Capability to link customer business challenges with Snowflake’s solutions.

• Skilled at conducting in-depth discovery of customer architecture and relating it to Snowflake Data Architecture.

• Experience with Global System Integrators (GSIs) is advantageous but not mandatory.

• Willingness to travel approximately 30% of the time.

• A university degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or a related field, or equivalent experience is preferred but not required.
