Senior Solution Architect – Azure

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Take charge of the complete solution architecture for a cohesive, personalized guest experience across web and mobile platforms.

• Connect the business vision with Microsoft Azure and third-party services, including Mulesoft, Salesforce CRM, and Contentful CMS.

• Guide architecture from initial discovery through Key Design Decisions (KDDs) and Operational Design Concepts (ODCs).

• Ensure that security, scalability, identity management, and observability are prioritized from the beginning.

• Advocate for KDDs and Solution Design Documentation during Technical Design Authority forums.

• Conduct workshops with business stakeholders and present designs in TDA forums.

• Lead and mentor engineering teams to convert the architecture source of truth into code.

• Design a centralized Microsoft Entra identity for a unified guest experience across web, mobile, booking, and concierge services.

• Promote security-by-design principles, threat modeling, secrets management, and protection of personally identifiable information (PII).

• Create Azure solutions consistent with the Cloud Adoption Framework and Landing Zone patterns.

• Collaborate with DevOps on CI/CD, Terraform-based infrastructure as code, and release strategies.

• Specify observability requirements across front-end, CMS, CRM, booking, and analytics services.

• Incorporate conversational concierge, unified booking, CRM, CMS, and data analytics capabilities.

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated experience as a Senior/Lead Solution Architect for enterprise-level B2C digital platforms (Web & Mobile, Cloud).

• Extensive hands-on experience with Azure PaaS, Networking, API Management, and Integration services.

• Capability to produce structured, defensible specifications (ODC, KDD, SDD/HLD) that successfully navigate formal design reviews.

• Strong understanding of Microsoft Entra / IDaaS within a B2C framework.

• Knowledge of identity unification across web and mobile channels utilizing modern standards.

• Comprehensive understanding of modern CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, and operational readiness.

• Exceptional ability to translate business objectives into technical architecture and negotiate technical-business trade-offs.

• Familiarity with Node.js, Fastify, and oRPC is a plus.

• Experience with React Native and Next.js is advantageous.

• Background in integrating chatbots and AI/LLM services is beneficial.

• Experience in designing architectures that support Data Lakes/Analytics platforms is a plus.

• Availability to work with a 3 to 7 pm overlap.

• Ability to lead discovery sessions and independently craft technical specifications.

• Willingness to oversee the full documentation lifecycle and ensure compliance with specifications by engineering teams.

• Preparedness to serve as the final Design Authority during production deployment.

• Proficiency in English and comfort leading client workshops in English.
