Senior Software Tester

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with functional and development teams to identify, document, and execute test cases that align with both business and technical requirements.

• Evaluate requirements, user stories, and technical specifications to design comprehensive test coverage.

• Create, develop, execute, and sustain UI automated test scripts and frameworks utilizing Playwright.

• Recognize stable web elements and construct resilient automated tests for dynamic web interfaces.

• Design, develop, execute, and maintain API test scripts to validate service functionality, integration, and data flows.

• Report, track, and verify defects effectively.

• Provide test documentation, metrics, and status updates to enhance stakeholder visibility and aid in decision-making.

• Implement test automation fundamentals within CI/CD pipelines to support regression coverage and ensure release quality.

• Define and enhance test engineering practices, testing standards, and consistent quality processes across scrum teams.

• Share testing best practices and contribute to continuous improvement within the team.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline with 5+ years of experience; alternatively, a Master's degree with 3+ years of experience.

• U.S. Citizenship is required.

• Must be able to obtain a public trust clearance.

• Proven experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining automated test scripts/frameworks for functional, regression, and integration testing.

• Practical experience with tools such as Selenium, Jira, Playwright, Azure DevOps (ADO), and Micro Focus Application Lifecycle Management (ALM).

• Knowledge of Python, Java, or JavaScript is advantageous.

• Familiarity with GitLab for infrastructure-as-code and CI/CD pipelines.

• Understanding of Agile and/or DevOps methodologies is beneficial.

• Strong grasp of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and Software Testing Lifecycle (STLC).

• Experience in testing APIs and Web Services.

• Ability to comprehend business processes and translate them into technical requirements.

• Strong logical reasoning and analytical skills.

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

• Highly detail-oriented and well-organized.
