Senior Software Tester

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with functional and development teams to identify, document, and execute test cases that align with business and technical requirements.

• Evaluate requirements, user stories, and technical specifications to design comprehensive test coverage.

• Create, develop, execute, and maintain automated UI test scripts and frameworks utilizing Playwright.

• Identify stable web elements and construct resilient automated tests for dynamic web interfaces.

• Create, develop, execute, and maintain API test scripts to verify service functionality, integration, and data flows.

• Report, track, and validate defects.

• Provide test documentation, metrics, and status updates for stakeholder visibility and informed decision-making.

• Implement test automation principles within CI/CD pipelines to support regression coverage and enhance release quality.

• Define and promote test engineering practices, testing standards, and consistent quality processes across scrum teams.

• Collaborate, share testing best practices, and engage in continuous improvement initiatives.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field with 5+ years of experience, or a Master's degree with 3+ years of experience.

• Candidates must be U.S. Citizens.

• Candidates must be eligible to obtain a public trust clearance.

• Experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining automated test scripts/frameworks for functional, regression, and integration testing.

• Proven track record in providing test documentation, metrics, and quality reports to stakeholders.

• Practical experience with Selenium, Jira, Playwright, Azure DevOps (ADO), and Micro Focus Application Lifecycle Management (ALM).

• Familiarity with Python, Java, or JavaScript is advantageous.

• Understanding of GitLab for infrastructure-as-code and CI/CD pipelines.

• Knowledge of Agile and/or DevOps methodologies.

• Comprehension of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and Software Testing Lifecycle (STLC).

• Experience in testing APIs and Web Services.

• Ability to comprehend business processes and translate them into technical requirements.

• Strong logical and analytical capabilities.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Highly detail-oriented and well-organized.

• Capable of working independently or as an active team member.
