This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +40 more states.
• Conduct analysis and manage extensive datasets, including healthcare claims.
• Create test cases and datasets that align with specifications, requirements, clinical content definitions, and software design/logic implementations.
• Perform both manual and automated test case execution.
• Evaluate test execution to detect irregularities and outcomes.
• Report any outliers and defects identified during testing.
• Streamline the creation of test cases and the analysis of results through automation using frameworks and scripts.
• Record the automation strategy and its implementation process.
• Run automation programs and scripts while interpreting their results.
• Conduct quality reviews of Definition Manuals.
• Guide and mentor the Quality Engineer team.
• Engage in Scrum team planning sessions.
• Determine dependency chains and breakdown tasks.
• Provide estimates and delineate testing approaches for the team.
• Adhere to corporate policies, procedures, and security standards.
• A Bachelor’s Degree or higher from an accredited university along with five (5) years of experience in the software industry; OR a High School Diploma/GED or higher from an accredited institution paired with a minimum of nine (9) years of experience in the software industry as a substitute for the bachelor’s degree requirement.
• A minimum of five (5) years of experience in creating software quality and/or data processing tests.
• Proficiency in testing applications that utilize Java, SQL, and JSON technologies.
• At least three (3) years of experience in test automation.
• Experience in mentoring a team of Quality Engineers in their daily tasks.
• Proven ability to drive innovative testing solutions and standardize metrics.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies, specifically using the Scrum Framework.
• Experience in analyzing and managing large datasets.
• Over five (5) years of experience testing applications or Java jars/libraries without a user interface using JSON and CSV datasets.
• A minimum of two (2) years of experience with healthcare-related data and HIPAA requirements is preferred.
• Demonstrated proficiency with automation frameworks such as JUnit, TestNG, PyTest, and Selenium.
• Experience in writing test scripts using Java, Python, and SQL is preferred.
• Capability to produce test preparation and impact documentation while communicating effectively within a team environment.
