Senior Software Engineering Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Create, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs.

• Build and enhance distributed systems designed for high-volume, time-sensitive tasks.

• Develop solutions utilizing Java/Rust and distributed messaging platforms like Kafka.

• Design effective data solutions leveraging relational and analytical databases such as MySQL, ClickHouse, BigQuery, and Athena.

• Ensure reliability, observability, fault tolerance, and operational excellence across all services.

• Collaborate with Product Managers, Designers, and Engineers from various regions.

• Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and promote engineering best practices.

• Enhance platform performance, scalability, security, and maintainability.

• Engage in knowledge sharing within the global anti-fraud organization.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in backend software development.

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.

• Advanced or fluent proficiency in English.

• Extensive experience in developing applications using Java and/or Rust.

• Experience in designing and managing distributed systems.

• Strong knowledge of event-driven architectures and messaging systems such as Kafka.

• Experience with relational and analytical databases.

• Experience in building applications deployed on cloud platforms like AWS.

• Familiarity with containerized environments, including Docker and Kubernetes.

• Experience in implementing observability solutions, including logging, metrics, and monitoring.

• Strong grasp of software engineering best practices, encompassing testing, code quality, performance, and security.

• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

• Must be based in Brazil.
