Senior Software Engineer – Workday

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kentucky.

📋 Description

• Develop software applications based on business requirements.

• Establish standardized software quality assurance processes.

• Supervise testing and debugging, and create solutions.

• Investigate complaints and propose adjustments or recommendations to resolve intricate software issues.

• Shape departmental strategy.

• Make decisions concerning technical methods for project components.

• Independently identify objectives and strategies for assignments.

• Partner with business stakeholders, solution architects, and application architects to design software solutions.

• Occasionally travel to Humana offices for training or meetings.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related field.

• 5 or more years of experience in designing, developing, and testing software applications and/or infrastructure.

• A strong desire to contribute to an organization dedicated to continuously enhancing consumer experiences.

• Over 5 years of experience with Workday integration techniques including RaaS, API, Cloud Connector, and EIB.

• More than 4 years of experience collaborating with HR, Talent, Payroll, Benefits, and Learning teams.

• At least 3 years of experience with Workday architecture and data structures.

• A minimum of 3 years of experience handling protected information.

• Over 2 years of experience implementing Workday security features including SSO and MFA.

• Minimum home internet speed of 25 Mbps download and 10 Mbps upload.

• A dedicated workspace free from ongoing interruptions to safeguard member PHI/HIPAA information.

• Master’s Degree is preferred.

• Experience with Workday Extend is preferred.

• Experience with Workday Orchestration is preferred.

• Experience with Workday Sana is preferred.

• Familiarity with Electronic Transmissions processes is preferred.

• Experience in estimating, budgeting, and planning projects is preferred.
