Senior Software Engineer – Web Access Engineer

📋 Description

• Conduct research and analysis on how contemporary websites interact with browsers throughout the entire request lifecycle.

• Explore browser fingerprinting, client validation methods, and cutting-edge web technologies to facilitate dependable web access.

• Develop tools for browser instrumentation, debugging, observability, and extensive experimentation.

• Convert technical research findings into production systems that function at internet scale.

• Create browser infrastructure and tools that ensure reliable and efficient access to web content amid a rapidly evolving web landscape.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience as a software engineer focusing on production backend or infrastructure systems.

• Proficient in various browser technologies and web platform domains.

• Understanding of Chromium architecture and browser internals.

• Familiarity with the browser lifecycle and navigation processes.

• Experience with the Chrome DevTools Protocol (CDP).

• Proficient in browser automation frameworks such as Playwright, Puppeteer, Selenium, or similar tools.

• Background in browser instrumentation and debugging techniques.

• Knowledgeable about HTTP/1.1, HTTP/2, HTTP/3, TLS, DNS, and browser networking protocols.

• Understanding of cookies, browser storage, caching mechanisms, redirects, and session management.

• Familiarity with JavaScript execution and modern client-side rendering techniques.

• Knowledge of resource loading, page lifecycle, and browser networking concepts.

• Awareness of browser fingerprinting principles and browser characteristics.

• Must be legally authorized to work in the country of application and provide proof of employment eligibility.

• Completion of coding interviews is required as part of the hiring process.
