Senior Software Engineer – Weapons Planning

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.

📋 Description

• Create, implement, deploy, and showcase applications with rich features and research & development initiatives.

• Contribute to the Next-Generation Open Mission Planning System for the Department of War (DoW).

• Define long-term project objectives and convert them into specific features and actionable software designs.

• Establish the necessary architectural runway for large-scale solutions.

• Stay updated with emerging technologies and programming tools to ensure the team's capabilities are current.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a comparable technical discipline along with 15 years of experience.

• Experience in developing mission planning applications for the Department of War (DoW).

• Proficient programming skills in one or more of the following languages: C#, Java, JavaScript, or TypeScript.

• Familiarity with web frameworks such as React, Node.js, Vue.js, Next.js, ASP.NET, or Angular.

• Strong foundational skills in software design and development.

• Capability to coordinate the workflow of the team.

• Ability to collaborate with colleagues both virtually and in person to plan projects, seek assistance with issues, and present solutions to clients.

• Competence in managing time and prioritizing team tasks to ensure timely project completion.

• Must be a U.S. Citizen.

• Must be able to pass a U.S. government background investigation.
