This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Design and improve Edify Play, converting educational flows into seamless, high-performance, top-tier gamified experiences for mobile and WebGL platforms.

• Work closely with Product, Design (UX/UI), and the educational team to ensure that the experiences for both students and educators are exceptional, intuitive, and accessible.

• Maintain code quality through constructive code reviews, encouraging best practices and fostering the technical development of the team.

• Develop with efficiency and consistency, promoting a culture of testing and componentization to create reusable interfaces that enhance the overall development speed of the team.

• Engage actively in the advancement of the application architecture, documenting technical choices and consistently enhancing our internal processes.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive experience with Unity, having successfully built and managed a product in a production environment.

• Strong skills in C# and Unity.

• Proficiency in performance and memory management: utilizing profilers, managing object lifecycles, investigating memory leaks, implementing caching strategies, and reducing build sizes.

• Experience in leading the architecture of complex applications, including the separation of business logic from UI, modularization, decoupling, and applying MVP/MVC/MVVM patterns in Unity.

• Familiarity with automated testing (unit testing frameworks; Edit Mode and Play Mode; unit and integration tests).

• Proactive in exploring technological advancements and integrating AI tools into daily tasks.

• A collaborative mindset, excellent communication skills, and a keen willingness to learn.

• Preferred: practical experience with WebGL in production; knowledge of JavaScript and browser APIs to address engine limitations on WebGL; experience in running Unity applications on limited hardware.
