Senior Software Engineer – TSM, OMT

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Create customer applications focused on Work Order management, scheduling, and dispatch.

• Work alongside stakeholders to pinpoint essential functionalities within tailored ServiceNow instances.

• Improve ServiceNow event rules to guarantee accurate CMDB binding.

• Collaborate with technical subject matter experts to gather environmental data that supports service mapping and event operations.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience with TSM/OMT in ServiceNow.

• Understanding of TSM/OMT solutions, along with the ability to effectively communicate and implement them.

• Capability to develop interfaces tailored for various user audiences using custom application models or Service Portals.

• Experience in creating integrated logic and functional components that interface with ServiceNow's internal services and REST APIs.

• Familiarity with service-oriented and distributed enterprise application architecture.

• Knowledge of both Credential-less and Credential-based Discovery.

• Proficient in installing, configuring, and integrating ServiceNow TSM/OMT products, with a focus on discovery, service mapping, certification management, Service Graph Connectors, and Multisource CMDB.

• Ability to prevent duplicate CIs by utilizing CI identifiers.

• Skill in extending Horizontal Discovery with custom Infrastructure Patterns and Application Patterns.

• Expertise in configuring, managing, and maintaining MID servers.

• Proficiency in using the command line console for Service Mapping.

• Ability to work with and migrate patterns across environments for Service Mapping.

• Competence in configuring Identification Rules for Service Mapping.

• Knowledge and expertise in discovering multi-tier services, including advanced pattern configuration for Service Mapping.
