Senior Software Engineer, Trust

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and manage robust and scalable distributed systems.

• Work alongside software engineers, product managers, operations, and data scientists to uncover business-impacting opportunities, refine and prioritize engineering requirements, guide engineering decisions, and measure outcomes.

• Create prototypes, develop, productionize, and test solutions and defenses against both current and emerging fraud trends.

• Provide mentorship to fellow engineers in both technical and collaborative capabilities.

• Champion and engage in the enhancement of Airbnb’s engineering processes and technical infrastructure.

• Create user-friendly experiences, enhance existing offerings, and deliver products that reinforce Airbnb’s Trust defenses.

• Develop adaptable, efficient, and scalable solutions to tackle changing online and offline attack vectors.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 7 years of relevant industry experience.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.

• Proficient programming skills in Python, Java, C++, or similar languages.

• Solid understanding of data structures and algorithms.

• Competence in data engineering.

• Experience in building and scaling high-quality, high-traffic products or systems.

• Capability to assess technical methods and design product solutions for real-world challenges.

• Enthusiasm for AI, with experience and a strong understanding of current trends in Generative AI, LLMs, and related technologies.

• Familiarity with the Trust and Risk domain is an added advantage.
