📋 Description

• Oversee significant, cross-functional projects that engage customers and involve Treasury engineering, operations, compliance, banking, and risk teams.

• Establish the technical framework and user experience of the Treasury product.

• Work alongside product, design, and operations teams to deliver features for both customers and internal users.

• Take ownership and responsibility for the product, contributing to the strategic direction of Mercury.

• Become part of a team comprising both seasoned and junior product engineers, managing billions of dollars in customer assets.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in full stack software engineering, focusing on backend systems and customer-facing applications.

• Strong communication and collaboration skills with colleagues and cross-functional partners.

• Proven experience as the technical lead on complex projects involving multiple stakeholders.

• A product-oriented engineering mindset, with an emphasis on the needs of developers using APIs and customer expectations.

• Familiarity with the domain of registered investment advisors and broker-dealers, particularly in relation to individual securities (equities, fixed income) and mutual funds.

• A commitment to mentoring both junior and senior engineers.
