Senior Software Engineer – Tech Foundations

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Contribute to the development and execution of the AI for Developers strategy from concept to delivery.

• Engage in coding across a variety of technology stacks.

• Make practical architectural and technical choices.

• Keep abreast of the changing AI tools landscape.

• Balance innovative ideas with quantifiable impact on developers.

• Act as a champion, resource, mentor, and advisor for teams and leaders implementing AI capabilities.

• Promote engineering excellence through high-quality coding, thoughtful design, and dependable systems.

• Be involved in on-call rotations.

• Enhance operational excellence for the platform components of the team.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 7 years of industry experience or equivalent expertise.

• Previous experience in developing developer infrastructure, tools, or platforms, preferably at scale.

• Practical experience utilizing AI technologies to address real-world software development issues.

• Capability to quickly adapt to new domains, technologies, or programming languages.

• Proven success in cross-functional collaboration.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Proficiency in one or more of the following: Go, Python, Typescript, or Kotlin.

• Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree or equivalent experience.

• Must reside in a state where Airbnb, Inc. is legally registered.
