Senior Software Engineer – Supply Chain

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Create and develop top-tier software solutions.

• Conduct business and software analysis.

• Serve as a problem solver within the product team and as a subject matter expert in the domain.

• Design, test, and implement solutions for warehouse, transportation, and fulfillment systems.

• Build APIs, message-driven processing, event-based services, and cloud-native applications.

• Analyze, enhance, and create fast, secure, and reliable software.

• Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve intricate software defects.

• Generate concepts and prototypes for digital products and services.

• Investigate and propose optimizations for solutions.

• Lead software maintenance roadmaps and prioritize development tasks.

• Assign short-term work plans based on storyboards and backlogs.

• Foster the growth of personal and junior team members through training, coaching, and development planning.

• Contribute to established program management strategies.

• Oversee database resource design, physical modeling, and performance tuning.

• Assist in the collection and documentation of functional requirements.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred.

• 3 to 6 years of general professional experience.

• 4 to 6 months of basic experience in coordinating the work of others.

• Proficiency in Kotlin / Java (Spring Boot) for backend services.

• Experience with REST APIs and event-driven architecture (Kafka, RabbitMQ).

• Knowledge of Apache Camel and/or Spring Integration.

• Familiarity with distributed systems and microservices architecture.

• Experience with Microsoft Azure (AKS, Azure Functions, cloud-native services).

• Proficiency with Docker and Kubernetes.

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure automation.

• Knowledge of React and/or React Native.

• Familiarity with observability tooling.

• Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases.

• Proficient in Linux/Unix environments and Git-based version control.

• Knowledge of secure software development practices.

• AI-forward thinking and adoption is preferred.

• Experience with Manhattan Active Supply Chain and a background in Supply Chain is a plus.

• Successful completion of a background check, potentially including ID verification.

• Cameras must be on during all virtual interviews.
