Senior Software Engineer – Serverless

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom, +5 more countries.

📋 Description

• Oversee the design and execution of essential systems that drive Runware’s AI platform.

• Develop and enhance backend APIs, SDKs, and developer tools to facilitate seamless AI integration.

• Integrate and optimize image and video models, while also supporting audio and custom LLMs.

• Design scalable and reliable systems for inference orchestration and workload optimization.

• Collaborate with platform and infrastructure teams to improve performance, reliability, and observability.

• Influence technical direction through architectural discussions and long-term strategies.

• Guide engineers through code and design evaluations.

• Contribute to documentation, tooling, and SDKs that improve the developer experience.

• Lead initiatives aimed at enhancing platform build, deployment, and maintenance processes.

• Extensive experience in building distributed and high-performance systems.

• Proficient programming skills in PHP or Go.

• Demonstrated ability to design and deliver scalable backend systems and APIs.

• Knowledge of asynchronous workloads, queues, and streaming data.

• Familiarity with cloud and bare-metal infrastructure.

• Strong understanding of system design, performance optimization, and scalability principles.

• Effective communicator who leads technical projects and collaborates well across teams.

• Enthusiastic about mentoring others and elevating engineering standards.
