📋 Description

• Design and develop scalable, immutable, and distributed systems that emphasize data streaming and backend services utilizing functional Scala.

• Collaborate with cross-functional Agile teams to create and deliver resilient cloud-based solutions leveraging AWS infrastructure and contemporary development methodologies.

• Produce clean, efficient, and thoroughly tested code.

• Contribute to a culture of engineering that prioritizes quality, innovation, and ongoing improvement.

• Address complex challenges and extend technical limits.

• Develop high-quality products that satisfy clients and excel in production environments.

• Engage across the technology stack to enhance technical expertise.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of professional experience in software application development.

• More than 4 years of practical experience with functional programming languages such as Scala, Haskell, Clojure, or Common Lisp.

• At least 2 years of experience working with AWS, including services like DynamoDB.

• Bachelor’s Degree; alternatively, three years of specialized training and/or progressively responsible work experience in technology for each missing year of college, in addition to the minimum required years of experience for the role.

• Knowledge of the ZIO framework is an advantage.

• Previous experience in fintech or banking settings is a plus.

• Over 4 years of experience with open-source web technologies is a plus.

• At least 2 years of experience in performance tuning and monitoring is an advantage.

• More than 1 year of experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools is a plus.

• Practical experience in optimizing high-scale server systems is an advantage.

• AWS Developer or Architect Certification is a plus.
