Senior Software Engineer – Salesforce

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design and develop Apex classes, Lightning components, and Visualforce to enhance Salesforce according to business needs.

• Configure Salesforce solutions utilizing platform point-and-click tools, including workflows, approval processes, case management, entitlements, and assignment rules.

• Integrate Salesforce with both internal and external services leveraging its integration capabilities.

• Work alongside the Salesforce team to validate business requirements while evaluating security, scalability, and limitations.

• Integrate and manage business applications linked to Salesforce.

• Adhere to Salesforce best practices and governor limits.

• Document solutions for future reference and to aid in incident resolution.

• Utilize problem-solving skills to independently implement solutions.

• Support Product Owners in defining new features and converting technical requirements.

• Clearly communicate status updates and outstanding issues to the development team and leads.

• Undertake additional responsibilities as needed to meet business goals.

⛳️ Requirements

• Knowledge of Salesforce Sales/Service Cloud products.

• Minimum of 8 years of Salesforce development experience.

• Expertise in user management, case management, API integration, reports/dashboards, and the Salesforce development lifecycle.

• Capability to work autonomously.

• Strong collaboration and communication skills with business stakeholders and Salesforce team members.

• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps methodologies.

• Knowledge of Experience Cloud and Agentforce development.

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related discipline.

• Over 10 years of enterprise-level software development experience.

• More than 8 years of experience with Salesforce Cloud.

• Proven experience in implementing and developing with Apex, LWC, and Visualforce.

• Experience integrating internal and external services using Salesforce functionalities.

• Ability to write, interpret, and evaluate technical specifications.

• Proficient in gathering requirements and presenting solutions to stakeholders.

• Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I/II or Salesforce Certified Platform App Builder certification is desirable.

• Experience with AI/ML integrations or Generative AI is a plus.

• Proficiency in JavaScript, SQL, and REST/SOAP-based web services is advantageous.
