Salesforce Developer, Copado Deployment

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil, +4 more countries.

📋 Description

• Coordinate and implement deployment activities across various Salesforce environments.

• Ensure seamless transitions from development to production stages.

• Utilize and manage Salesforce-native DevOps platforms like Copado, AutoRABIT, or Flosum.

• Automate and enhance the Salesforce release lifecycle.

• Design and sustain Salesforce metadata structures.

• Oversee package management and environment synchronization, including change sets.

• Implement and uphold Git version control and branching strategies.

• Apply continuous delivery principles to ensure code integrity.

• Collaborate with administration, development, and QA teams.

• Diagnose deployment issues and resolve merge conflicts efficiently.

• Ensure release preparedness across technical teams.

• Connect development, QA, and operations to reliably and securely deliver Salesforce features and metadata.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 4 years of direct experience with the Salesforce platform, particularly in deployment architecture and release management.

• Demonstrated hands-on experience with Copado or similar Salesforce-native DevOps tools (e.g., AutoRABIT, Flosum).

• Strong knowledge of Salesforce metadata structures, package management, Metadata API, DevOps Center, change sets, and environmental strategies.

• Practical experience with Git version control, branching strategies, automated testing integration, and continuous delivery methods.

• Excellent problem-solving skills.

• Strong communication abilities across various functions.

• Proficiency in English.

• Experience in coordinating releases among technical teams.

• Copado Fundamentals/Advanced certifications or Salesforce certifications (such as Platform Developer I, Platform Administrator, DevOps Engineer) are preferred.

• Previous experience in supporting release operations within regulated or large-scale enterprise settings is advantageous.

• Familiarity with integrating automated regression testing, static code analysis, and release compliance tools into deployment pipelines is a plus.

• Availability for consistent overlap with Central Time (CT) teams during standard Austin business hours.
