Senior Software Engineer – Rust

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Create and deploy robust services and libraries in Rust that facilitate trading, payments, and cryptocurrency experiences, with an emphasis on reliability, performance, and user experience.

• Develop reusable, testable, and highly efficient code that can scale across teams and supports revenue-critical systems while maintaining safety and security standards.

• Collaborate on the architecture of large-scale distributed systems, translating changing product requirements into resilient, low-latency solutions.

• Work alongside a team of hundreds of skilled Rust engineers, contributing to a high-performance, product-oriented engineering culture.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in software engineering.

• Expertise in crafting network services or asynchronous code using Rust.

• Maintain a security-first approach in system design to ensure robustness.

• Exhibit the capability to independently debug issues across the entire stack (OS, network, application).

• Leverage a strong understanding of distributed systems and related technologies, including RPC protocols, Kafka, and Event-Driven Systems, to create scalable solutions.

• Work effectively with product teams to gather requirements and constraints for designing suitable systems.

• Assume full end-to-end ownership of systems and libraries.

• Mentor other engineers while playing a role in shaping the technical culture.
