This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.
• Design and implement secure and scalable solutions utilizing Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse, and Power BI.
• Convert federal business and mission requirements into technical solution designs, data models, and architectural artifacts.
• Facilitate integrations with Microsoft 365, Dynamics 365, Azure services, and external systems through APIs and connectors.
• Create and assess technical documentation, architecture diagrams, and design deliverables for federal initiatives.
• Offer technical guidance and oversight to development teams.
• Engage in hands-on development, configuration, testing, and troubleshooting activities.
• Assist with the strategy for Dev/Test/Prod environments, solution packaging, and structured deployment processes.
• Enforce role-based security, data access controls, and data loss prevention policies.
• Ensure compliance with federal security, governance, and compliance standards, including NIST, FISMA, and agency-specific requirements.
• Participate in Agile delivery activities such as sprint planning, backlog refinement, demonstrations, and stakeholder reviews.
• Collaborate with program managers, business analysts, and government stakeholders to prioritize enhancements and manage technical risks.
• 5–7 years of overall experience in IT or application development.
• 2–4 years of hands-on experience with the Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse).
• Experience in supporting federal government programs or working with federal systems integrators.
• Extensive experience with Power Apps (both Canvas and Model-Driven), Power Automate (cloud flows), Dataverse data modeling and security, and Power BI.
• Proficiency in integrating Power Platform solutions with Microsoft 365, Azure services, and REST APIs.
• Familiarity with JavaScript, SQL, or C# for advanced customizations and integrations.
• Understanding of low-code application architecture patterns and enterprise solution design.
• Experience working in Agile or Scrum delivery methodologies.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the capacity to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Preferred Microsoft Power Platform certifications such as PL-100, PL-200, or PL-400.
• PL-600 certification is preferred but not mandatory.
• Azure or security-focused certifications are advantageous.
• Capability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Secret clearance, depending on program needs.
